VAILO is an Australian advanced technology company specialising in manufacturing ultra-high-performance LED sports lighting and as a premier solutions provider of LED digital displays tailored to sporting venues and major outdoor events.

Established in 2012 by visionary CEO Aaron Hickmann, VAILO started as a lighting wholesaler, underpinned by a steadfast vision to propel high-tech manufacturing within Australia. In 2022, Aaron’s vision came to life, and the company transitioned from importer to manufacturer. In the same year, VAILO became a solutions provider of LED digital displays, expanding on the sports venue offering. As of today, VAILO has delivered a significant number of LED lighting and digital display installs across Australia for grassroots sports clubs, stadiums, professional sporting clubs and leagues, schools and colleges, councils, and major events.

VAILO has strong partnerships with organisations far and wide, from Sport NSW, Sport SA and VicSport to the VAILO Adelaide 500, Hawthorn Football Club and Ai Group, to name a few – covering a range of sports and events.

In the coming year, VAILO is positioned to extend its footprint internationally, exporting its Australian designed and made LED lighting products and digital displays overseas.

The growth of VAILO, its unique position as Australia’s only producer of premium stadium lighting – manufacturing onshore – and its increasing international footprint is being recognised. In 2022, VAILO took out the prestigious Australian Good Design Awards for its Zenith Gen-V, and in 2023, was named one of Australia and New Zealand’s leading places to work in the 2023 AFR BOSS Best Places to Work List.
