Illuminate Adelaide is excited to announce VAILO Corporation as its Illuminate Partner for its inaugural winter event set to take over Adelaide’s city streets, laneways, and CBD buildings. The 17-day event will offer visitors a collaboration of light shows, art installations, immersive technology experiences, music performances, forums and ideas.

Illuminate Adelaide is set to take place from 16 July to 1 August. A program of free and ticketed events will be available for all ages including a selection of exclusive projects featuring international artists, cultural institutions, technology companies, and the local entrepreneurial community.

The event was founded by South Australian Creative Leaders, Rachael Azzopardi and Lee Cumberlidge, who have joined forces as Creative Directors and will work in collaboration with the city’s cultural, academic and science institutions to bring this event to life.

Illuminate Adelaide

The inaugural Illuminate Adelaide will run over two weeks and three weekends in July – August 2021 during the traditionally quieter winter months. An event of global significance and distinctively South Australian, Illuminate Adelaide will present a new event concept that celebrates the union between future technology and creative industries. The Illuminate Adelaide Foundation will partner with SA-based company Arts Projects Australia for the management and presentation of the event and is supported by Events South Australia, a division of the South Australian Tourism Commission.

VAILO Corporation
