VAILO was contracted by the AFL to provide its services at the Mount Barker Summit Sport and Recreation Park during the AFL Gather Round.

As part of the solution, VAILO installed two 8m x 4.5m LED digital displays at each end of the Mount Barker venue. The digital displays had a pixel pitch of P10, meaning the distance between each pixel was 10mm, providing a clear and sharp display. With a brightness level of 10,000 nits, the screens were designed to deliver vibrant and visible content even in bright outdoor environments. The digital displays were mounted on a hanging truss structure to ensure they were easily viewable by the audience at the venue.

VAILO offered a comprehensive turn-key solution to the client, which included equipment hire, structural requirements, installation, commissioning, and event monitoring and maintenance.

VAILO provided a fantastic temporary super screen solution for the AFL’s 2023 Gather Round match in the Adelaide Hills. The complexities of the venue meant bumping in such infrastructure was a significant undertaking, but the team at VAILO went over and above to deliver a solution that helped transform a local community sporting facility into a venue fit for hosting an AFL match.
